Great Week!

I spent Monday - Thursday of this week,

with these beautiful young ladies!

We attended the state FCCLA Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN.

We left school early Monday morning, and enjoyed a lovely drive through the Cumberland Plateau.



Students from all over the state of TN arrived with projects and portfolio's to compete in a STAR Event (Students Taking Action w/ Recognition). The girls received a Bronze and Silver Medal for their efforts.

We enjoyed the scenery in the Opryland Hotel. If you have never been there, I highly recommend you go! Nashville had a flood last spring that flooded the hotel. I was a little concerned if it had been restored to it's former grand style.

I need not have worried, it was breathtaking!

It is like being outside - but never having to deal with "bad weather". Perfect temperature all day long. :)

I spent a little time this weekend with this beautiful young lady!

She is headed towards the last 2 weeks of college.

We did a little shopping, mani/pedi's

(I had a chip before I left for church this morning -

oh well, we did have fun!) and lot of time,

enjoying God's Blessings!
