This afternoon,
three young ladies, three teenagers,
a fellow teacher (mom) and
I spent time together creating fun in the sewing room.

The high school students prepared snacks (sewing makes one hungry!), then offered support to the younger ladies as they learned the parts of the sewing machine, threading a machine and making a pin cushion.
The girls were attentive, and within just a few minutes were confident enough to begin making a handbag.
It was a perfect class! If there were enough hours in the day, I would do this every afternoon!
Learning to sew is such a fun creative leisure activity.
We've already discussed the next class!
The pleasure is evident!
I'm thinking there may be a little jealousy from friends when these young people carry their bags. :0)
It's always fun to say "I made it myself!"
Make them they did - I am proud of the finished product and look forward to the next
